How to get there

 

From Wanaka: allow 30 minutes

From Queenstown: allow at least 1.5 hour, check the current road conditions (especially in the winter, plan ahead)

You would want to hire a car. This is actually where your adventure starts as it is one of New Zealand’s most scenic drives. Take your time to get to us and take in the scenic wonder while grabbing a photo of 2 on your way. Follow the directions towards West Wanaka - Treble Cone.. Once you pass Glendhu Bay keep driving with caution along the lake till you see a gravel road that turns right. Once you get over the skinny bridge, it is only 2 more km’s. You will see a sign to take the right driveway to get to us. Feel free to call us if you are unsure.​

Alternatively you can get bus from Queenstown to Wanaka village (1 hour) and then hire a taxi to get to us in West Wanaka (30 mins). We may be able to assist if you get stuck along the way from Wanaka as our staff drives the route almost daily. Let us know.
