1.⁠ ⁠Where did you grow up? 
I grew up north of Auckland at the beach, swapped the coast for the mountains of Wanaka a few years ago and have never looked back.

2.⁠ ⁠When and how did your horse journey start?
I’ve been horse mad as long as I can remember, my parents finally gave in when I was 10 and sent me to a riding holiday programme. I ended up getting my own horse a little while later, competed in show jumping and show hunter for many years.

3.⁠ ⁠Who’s currently your favourite horse and why? 
Big Boy! He’s been my favourite from day one. He’s not everyone’s favourite, but I love how reliable, cuddly and chill he is. Although Monty gives him a run for his money, no one can take him off my top spot.

4.⁠ ⁠What’s your favorite horse movie? 
Does Lord of the Rings count? Because that definitely would be it.

 

5.⁠ ⁠What’s your least favorite chore to do around horses?

Putting up electric fencing, takes longer than you think and the tape always gets tangled!

6.⁠ ⁠What's the one ride you’ve been on that you’ll never forget?

Honestly our rides are pretty hard to beat, but I always loved riding at Muriwai beach in Auckland, it’s a truly magical spot.

7.⁠ ⁠Where do we find you when not riding? 
I teach Pilates 3 times a week, spend my winters snowboarding as much as I can, and spend the rest of my time exploring our beautiful area with my two kids, husband, and fluffy dog!
